It isn’t subject for argument anymore when you say that the body does get bored with the same exercises when done over a very long period of time. The argument just lies as to why the body gets bored and does not respond anymore and simply stops building muscle. Whatever the reason is, and the reasons will be debated over time by physical fitness experts, it is enough for us to be aware of this fact.

And this leads us to strive to continuously make routine exercises as exciting for the muscles and as varied as possible. There always come a time when the body reaches its plateau during weight training. This happens when the body no longer responds to the set of exercises in a way that it should be responding. This is the signal to change and improvise. You don’t allow yourself to stay in this plateau for so long otherwise your weight training defeats its purpose. In fact, you don’t allow your body to reach its plateau at all.
